Brazil

As most of you know - I was scared to death to go to Brazil for my work trip! Was I going to come back with all my organs? Was I going to be kidnapped?

Turns out Brazil ROCKS! I enjoyed my time there so much that I'm looking forward to my trip!

The only thing I dread is the 10 hour flight from Dallas and back. That's a long flight for someone who can not sleep on plane flights. ;-(

So, did you know that in the Southern Hemisphere the water goes down the drain counter-clockwise versus clockwise (as it does in the US)?? Well, I attempted to document the moment.

And, I did! I started with the sink full of water and to watch it drain... no luck - it just all drained down in one big whoop.

So, my second attempt to document this amazing phenomenon was to record the toilet flushing.  I videoed the flushing of the toilet and I either saw the water going the opposite direction or maybe I just tricked myself into thinking it actually happened. Yippee me - I'm so accomplished - I have documented water going down the drain counter-clockwise!!

Smarty (me) gets home and downloads all my pictures and video footage. I forward all my fabulous photos, minus the videos, to my coworkers. Then I get the wise idea to delete all the photos/videos from the past 12 months in my iphotos and on my camera after I thought I had filed them safely away in file folders. 

I go back to upload this amazing video footage of my sink and toilet for you all to view. And, it is GONE! I deleted it!! I am so upset~ I now have no memories from Brazil except for the photos I sent to my co-workers and the small t-shirt I bought. Waaaa!!! 

Good thing I get to go back this summer (their winter)!!

I can't even get the pictures I e-mailed away.  Sorry - one day I will learn how to use this silly blogger~
